DaViMUN is a two-day international Model United Nations (MUN) Conference for and by high school students. At DaViMUN, students assume the roles of diplomats, representing a nation or NGO in a simulated session of a UN committee or international organization (e.g. the UN Security Council or the Council of the European Union).
DaViMUN is an exciting opportunity for students to learn about foreign policy and to seek solutions to the problems faced by world leaders today. They will respond to these problems by drafting resolutions and engaging in negotiation and debate. In doing so, students develop communication- and critical thinking skills such as leadership, teamwork, policy analysis, research, active listening and public speaking.
The last DaViMUN conference was organized in 2015. Currently no new DaViMUN conferences are being organized.
